On September 15, the hero of the 44-day war, Albert Hovhannisyan, would have turned 20 years old. On the hero’s birthday, the presentation of the book “Albert the Artillery God” by Zoz Hovsepyan took place in Yeraz park.
Aravot Daily asked the hero’s father, Artak Hovhannisyan, whether his son’s birthday was noticed by the state bodies. He answered, “What happened was at my initiative.” Artak Hovhannisyan said that Zoz Hovsepyan got in touch with him and mentioned his desire to write a book about Albert Hovhannisyan. “I gave him the details of the boys and the commander. He got in touch and spoke to them.”

The book “Albert the Artillery God” is about Albert Hovhannisyan, a hero who died in the war. A commemorative medal ceremony named after Albert Hovhannisyan took place at the initiative of Albert’s father. Artak Hovhannisyan said that in the near future, they will create commemorative boxes in a certain batch, in which there will be fake bullets, the book, and the commemorative medal dedicated to Albert Hovhannisyan. The pictures on the commemorative box will be read by the ARLOOPA program, and it will be possible to see videos, pictures, and words about Albert. In response to the question of where can the commemorative medal be obtained, Artak Hovhannisyan answered, “The commemorative medal is not for sale at the moment, only the commemorative box, but in the near future, people will be able to get the commemorative medal from me.”
Heroic mothers, fathers, friends, relatives, and officials were present at the event dedicated to Albert Hovhannisyan. Artak Hovhannisyan said that the officials were not present ex officio or on business, but as friends. In response to our question of how he would comment on that attitude, Artak Hovhannisyan answered, “Which attitude? No way. If there is nothing, what should I comment on?”
