Insults against former officials continue on social media today and they are not conditioned by the person. Instead, they are conditioned by that person’s position and formally, they are not cases of private accusations. Former Minister of Justice Davit Harutyunyan expressed this opinion during a discussion organized by the parliamentary opposition Armenia and I Have Honor factions. In the current situation, according to the speaker, the police and the prosecutor’s office should be brought to justice by reporting the crime. Let them continue to deny the initiation of criminal cases. Thus, according to the speaker, the political direction of the phenomenon will be shown.
Davit Harutyunyan suggested continuing discussions behind closed doors to reach effective decisions for further work. By the way, the representatives of the ruling faction did not take part in the meeting. Armenia faction MP Aram Vardevanyan stated that an announcement about the discussion was shared, but there were no individual invitations. The lawyers interested in this discussion were also present.
