“Davit Tonoyan does not consider himself to be guilty,” former Minister of Defense Davit Tonoyan’s lawyer, Sergey Hovhannisyan, told reporters in a meeting. Davit Tonoyan’s lawyer did not respond to other questions. He said that he will respond to questions after the session is over. The former Minister of Defense Davit Tonoyan’s home was searched Wednesday night. Then, he was arrested and released with his signature. Later, a motion to detain him was presented.

The home searches of Davit Tonoyan, his relatives, and other people connected to him have to do with another criminal case in connection to the director of an arms supply organization, Davit Galstyan (Patron Davo).
