“It is unfair when, after taking thousands of lives as a result of aggression and depriving thousands of Armenians of their homeland, they are now trying to dictate a so-called peace agenda. Injustice cannot give birth to internal stability or external peace,” the president of the RPA Serzh Sargsyan stated during the conference titled “Republicans: Continuous reforms,” adding that the RPA is not a party of war.
“We do not want a war because we have gone through all the wars in Artsakh because we were ready, and now we are still ready to make any sacrifice, but not to send people to their deaths as a result of stupid decisions and inflamed arrogance,” he said, adding that we continue to suffer human and security losses, and the RPA is against a new war with a crushed and ruined army. “What war can we wage with damaged state institutions? We are not crazy.” Serzh Sargsyan stated that they continue to insist that Artsakh will not be part of Azerbaijan.
