Civil Contract MP Vahe Ghalumyan, referring to Nikol Pashinyan’s statement about how he is ready to give all the maps to Azerbaijan in exchange for the captives, said that we do not need those maps, the mined areas are behind the positions occupied by Azerbaijan. “We do not need them. We can hand over the maps for humanitarian reasons and receive all the prisoners instead.”
Reporters reminded him that under the November 9 document, Azerbaijan has already committed to return all the captives. Ghalumyan answered that we need to get a guarantee and then hand over the maps. “A year has passed and it’s not that the process has frozen in place. If there is no guarantee, we will probably not give them the maps.”
