The Armenian Nuclear Power Plant was re-connected to the energy system of Armenia over a major overhaul on Sunday.
The final preventive and maintenance work within the framework of the project to modernize and extend the life of the Armenian nuclear power plant has been completed.
This was the longest and most important scheduled preventive repair, which precedes the adoption of a decision by the State Committee for Nuclear Safety Regulation under the Government of the Republic of Armenia to issue a license for operation until 2026.
The station had been shut down for almost five months.
