“Turkey is already acting as a mediator, which is extremely difficult from a security point of view. There is evidence that the main participant was Turkey and there were terrorist mercenaries. We seem to have forgotten about it for a moment and are talking about Azerbaijan. We must accept the role of Turkey. Otherwise, it will be perceived as a mediator with its consequences,” said Gevorg Danielyan, a law Ph.D., during a discussion on October 22 titled, ‘Threats to Armenia and Artsakh and Ways to Overcome Them.’ He said that the only party in the Hague court is Azerbaijan and as a lawyer, he is concerned that Turkey does not exist here.
“The heavy burden has been left on Aliyev to take full responsibility.” According to Gevorg Danielyan, the issue of Artsakh’s status should be addressed, especially since there are good conditions for that now. He also said that the November 9 document should be challenged, and our Constitution has been violated. It is clear that there was a threat, a threat to territorial integrity, which already means that it is an invalid treaty. Gevorg Danielyan is sure that we cannot talk about security until we raise these issues and resolve them.
