To date, Azerbaijan has handed over to the Armenian side about 1,700 bodies of killed servicemen, Azerbaijani foreign minister Jeyhun Bayramov said during a conference at a university, Haqqin.az reports. “[The Armenian side] hiding and not providing minefield maps to slow down our return to the [Nagorno-Karabakh] territories is a weak, senseless, and inhuman approach—and it cannot succeed,” Bayramov added.
To note, however, Azerbaijan refuses to release all Armenians—both prisoners of war and civilian detainees.
