“Azerbaijan’s actions are a challenge to our government and people, who have announced a peace agenda. The agenda of peace is an end of the common field,” Gurgen Arsenyan, a member of the Civil Contract faction, said at the November 16 plenary sitting of the National Assembly, referring to Azerbaijan’s use of artillery and armored vehicles on the Armenian-Azerbaijani line of contact.
“We can move from one area of the peace agenda to another if we are forced to. If they force us too much, the scope of the peace agenda can become a chain of events, as a result of which we will adopt another strategic goal, which may be the destruction of that state in general. That goal is not excluded; we can go for it,” he added.
