“A corridor cannot be provided to the Republic of Azerbaijan and no country, including Azerbaijan, our enemy country, can receive that corridor by force. It will turn into a large-scale war and Armenia and our people will not tolerate aggression against our country. Now we are trying to reach a ceasefire in a peaceful way,” Armen Khachatryan, a member of the Civil Contract faction, told reporters in the National Assembly on November 17. He assured that if the hostile encroachments continue, we will not tolerate it. “No one will tolerate an attack on the territory of Armenia. Our patience also has a limit. Regardless of everything, including military advantage, the enemy can no longer achieve any success in Syunik.”
In response to the question of whether this encroachment is for the corridor, Armen Khachatryan answered that one of the options is that yes, it is for providing the corridor. In response to the question about how Eduard Aghajanyan was talking about 15 casualties, but the Ministry of Defense mentioned only 1 casualty, so why do two different branches of government share contradictory information, Armen Khachatryan answered, “Dear people, it is a war, people have died, and there is a problem of clarification.” The MP said that he had no information about the exact number of victims and could not share it.
Armen Khachatryan also said that there are positions that we have taken back, but at the moment he cannot say where the forces are concentrated.
