“First of all, I do not see any document that they say is pro-Armenian or in line with Armenia’s interests. I try to find one, but I can’t. There is a reference to the November 9 statement regarding the captives, but the November 9 document also made it clear that everyone should be returned in exchange for everyone, and this has not happened for a year. Therefore, referring to the unfulfilled point of the unfulfilled document is absurd,” Taguhi Tovmasyan, a member of the I Have Honor faction, told reporters at a briefing on December 2, referring to the results of the Putin-Aliyev-Pashinyan meeting in Sochi. She mentioned that she had different expectations. “I thought that the Prime Minister would write a special opinion attached to that document, or express his attitude in any other way, because a year has already gone by and our prisoners have not returned. Moreover, Aliyev continues to state that they are war criminals and Azerbaijan has no captives. So why do they say that this serves the interests of Armenia?”
Tovmasyan is convinced that the demarcation process is not in our favor because by doing so, we will close the last door on Artsakh and Artsakh will remain part of Azerbaijan as an enclave, which we can never allow. “Did you just rejoice that Aliyev did not speak about the corridor in the presence of the Russian president? This does not mean that he has given up on his plans. If there are claims that this is a pro-Armenian document, let them say one thing. In any language I read, there is no confirmation that serves the interests of Armenia. Even the Foreign Ministry’s clarification put the document in an even sadder position.”
