The map was developed by the ‘AGATE– Rights Defense Center for Women with Disabilities’ NGO with the support of the Electoral Support Project in Armenia-3 (ESPA-3), funded by the European Union and other stakeholders.

“Accessibility of the electoral process is one of the central pillars for the inclusivity of the elections, founding a basis for equal participation of voters with disabilities and without disabilities. This is the choice that Armenia has made in recent years, of an inclusive and participatory democratic transition and the EU is proud to accompany it,” said EU Ambassador Andrea Wiktorin on a special event on the International Day of Persons with Disabilities.

Persons with different types of disabilities had the opportunity to test the accessibility of the polling stations.
