“I think former Minister of Foreign Affairs Edward Nalbandyan recently presented a very brief and professional analysis of the events of 2009 and 2010. So, I do not consider it right to talk about it,” the third President of Armenia Serzh Sargsyan said at a briefing with journalists on December 18, referring to the process of starting a dialogue between Armenian and Turkish relations and its possible risks.
“If you have noticed, I have not spoken about our achievements at all, because they are already in the past,” said Serzh Sargsyan, referring to the question that in his speech today he did not speak about Armenian-Turkish relations. In response to the remark that some people from the business environment are very excited about the possible opening of the Armenian-Turkish border, Serzh Sargsyan said, “They are the ones who do not understand politics or improving the business environment.”
