Tehran interested in speedy resumption of railway communications in South Caucasus: Iranian Foreign Ministry

1lurer.am. Tehran is interested in the speedy resumption of all railway communications in the South Caucasus. The statement came from Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amir Abdullahian.

According to him, Iran is also interested in the operation of various routes in the region and the construction of bridges.

Abdullahian also touched upon relations with Azerbaijan. “The reconstruction of infrastructure will be a major contribution to the economic, trade and energy cooperation between Iran and Azerbaijan, as well as within the framework of regional organizations, including the Shanghai Cooperation Organization and the Organization for Economic Cooperation,” he said.
