On Friday at Yerablur, Aravot asked Minister of Foreign Affairs Ararat Mirzoyan about when the Prime Minister says that Armenia has never pursued a policy of the Armenian Cause, does that mean that we are no longer demanding? He answered, “What do you mean? If your question is about the genocide, it is clearly in our government’s program.”
In response to our observation that there is a sentence, he said, “It is not measured by one, two or the number of lines. As before, we pursue the recognition of the Armenian Genocide. And we view the international recognition and condemnation of the genocide both in the context of the prevention of crimes against humanity in the world and in the context of strengthening our security in our region.”
