During the government-NA questions-and-answers session on February 9, Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan said, “As of today, the number of casualties is 3,812. I can not understand when the opposition figures say 5,000, 6,000, 7,000… if they have other data, let them substantiate it, otherwise the logic is not clear to me. Why are they obviously pushing forward their politics… could it have been planned that way, but it did not work out?”
Nikol Pashinyan asked. “My question is rhetorical whether it is pleasant for them that the number of victims was more than 1,000. What is this logic? This is a telling fact from which concrete conclusions must be made,” Pashinyan added.
