The Seismological Network of the Territorial Seismic Protection Service of the MES of the RA recorded a magnitude –5.2 earthquake 16 km northeast of the settlement Bavra, on February 13, at 22:25 local time (18:25 GMT). The earthquake was located in Georgia-Armenia, at a depth of 10 km with the geographic coordinates of 41.19⁰ in the northern latitude and 43.97⁰ in the eastern longitude.
The tremor measured magnitude 6-7 points at the epicenter.
The earthquake was felt in the provinces Tavush, Kotayk Armavir, Shirak, Lori, and Aragatsotn with a magnitude of 4-5 points and in the city Yerevan with a magnitude of 3 points.
According to preliminary data there are no devastations.
