Response of the Office of the Third President of the Republic of Armenia Serzh Sargsyan on the statement made by the Aliev regime on bringing Serzh Sargsyan to criminal responsibility and putting on the wanted list
The very charge made by the Aliev regime against Serzh Sargsyan is a mockery of justice while the accusations against him are cynical.
They are cynical since Aliev, who through the years mastered in genocidal policies, who during his rule made Armenophobia a state policy of Azerbaijan, has no moral right to speak about Serzh Sargsyan or bring forward any accusations.
For years, Aliev was facing the skillful diplomacy of Serzh Sargsyan, who presented Armenia in the most dignified way, and witnessed President Sargsyan’s high reputation which has not diminished within the international community after his resignation whatsoever.

Even after leaving office, the Third President of Armenia Serzh Sargsyan has continued to represent Armenia’s state and national interests abroad through his extensive connections and great experience.
Starting from 1988 and onward, President Sargsyan has been and will continue to pursue the right of the Armenian people to live free, secure, and independent in Artsakh – the sacred Armenian land which has been Armenian for millennia.
It is noteworthy that within the country persecutions against the Second President of Armenia Robert Kocharian and Third President of Armenia Serzh Sargsyan are carried out by the defeatist authorities while abroad such attempts against them are made by the Azerbaijan’s ruling clan which has factually become an ally of the defeatist authorities.
Neither the current authorities of Armenia, nor those who are trying to persecute the two Presidents from abroad, will be able to stop Serzh Sargsyan in fulfilling his mission.
We are confident that there will be time for historical justice and there will be time to punish those who committed villainy against the Armenian nation.
