President of Artsakh Arayik Harutyunyan thinks that the peace agreement that the Armenian authorities are talking about should not be linked to the Artsakh issue. He said this during a meeting with a group of intellectuals from Armenia. In the current context of geopolitical developments, he directly attributes the era of peace for the Armenian states to relations with Russia.
According to the President of Artsakh, the escalation of tensions over Ukraine and the uncertainty of developments force the Armenian states to be vigilant, as events may develop in different scenarios, including the military scenario, which will also affect our region. As a result of the 44-day war, the Armenian states are facing bigger problems, both in terms of losses, including military-technical and border strength, so we must be ready to face even the worst developments, especially as Azerbaijan continues to develop its military intensively. Based on these realities, according to the President of Artsakh, the relations between Armenia and Artsakh with Russia should be strengthened as much as possible.
