Foreign Minister of Armenia Ararat Mirzoyan received the Secretary General of BSEC Lazar Comanescu
On February 23, Foreign Minister of Armenia Ararat Mirzoyan received the Secretary General of the Organization of the Black Sea Economic Cooperation Lazar Comanescu.
The interlocutors noted that this year marks the 30th anniversary of the establishment of BSEC and emphasized the further development of the organization.
Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan stressed the importance of expanding sectoral cooperation with the BSEC, emphasizing that it will contribute to the implementation of the Government’s programs aimed at ensuring sustainable economic growth in the country through regional economic inclusive cooperation.

The sides stressed the importance of coordinated regional actions within the organization, aimed at creating a favorable environment for mutually beneficial economic cooperation, innovative and sustainable development, and the promotion of high competitiveness.
Minister Mirzoyan expressed conviction that the effective implementation of the main objectives of BSEC, which are based on depoliticized, inclusive regional economic cooperation and trade facilitation, the inadmissibility of the policy of blockade and closed borders, are important for regional stability and peace.
