“These people do not know what international relations and problems are, they do not know what counteraction is possible. My only hope is that they will not make a fatal mistake at this moment. I am not optimistic that they will do something that will have a positive situation for the country,” said Hayk Mamijanyan, a member of the I Have Honor faction in the National Assembly, referring to possible actions by the Armenian government in the event of a Russian military invasion of Ukraine.
In response to the question of what possible dangers should be expected from Azerbaijan in the Russia-Ukraine conflict, the deputy answered, “Regardless of the Ukrainian conflict, it is always possible for Azerbaijan to seize the opportunity, because for Nikol Pashinyan the question is whether the Turks want to commit genocide against us or not. We know history well. I do not think we need opportunities for Azerbaijan to prove its bloodthirsty approach to us.”
