PACE President reacts to new Russian law against the media

“I deeply deplore the new law in Russia, which provides for prison sentences of up to 15 years for spreading information “discrediting” the military forces,” said PACE President Tiny Kox.

“Several news media will suspend reporting in Russia to protect their journalists. This new law is totally unacceptable,” he added.
