Azerbaijan’s continuous criminal policy aimed at intimidating the civilian population living in Artsakh, the violation of the right to life and other fundamental rights, dearmenianization of Artsakh, has reached a very dangerous and absolutely inadmissible point. Artsakh is on the verge of a HUMANITARIAN CRISIS.
Along with regular interruptions of communication, electricity and water supply, the entire population of the Republic of Artsakh is deprived of gas supply. According to “Artsakhgas” CJSC, on March 8 an accident took place in the territory of Shushi-Zariflu settlements, which is under control of the Azerbaijani Armed Forces, as a result of which the high pressure gas pipe was damaged. Azerbaijan deliberately prohibits the Armenian side from working to resolve the urgent humanitarian issue despite the mediation of Russian peacekeepers.
It is snowing in Artsakh, it is cold and impossible to survive long without heating. Such criminal behavior by Azerbaijan, which contradicts the norms of the International Law, is highly reprehensible. In the conditions of indifference of the international community in connection with the humanitarian crisis in Artsakh, inadequate response to the criminal actions of Azerbaijan, the right to life of the civilians of Artsakh is endangered.

I urgently appealed to my international partners, the Ambassadors of Russia, the USA, European Union and France to Armenia, expecting an urgent response and condemning statement on the criminal actions of Azerbaijan in order to promote the restoration of the daily normal life in Artsakh. In the case of the continuation of such an absolutely inadmissible behavior by Azerbaijan, there will also be a shortage of electricity in Artsakh soon.
