Russia welcomes the normalization of relations between Turkey and Armenia, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov told a joint news conference with his Turkish counterpart Mevlut Cavusoglu.
“Meetings of special representatives of Armenia and Turkey have been organized. “We welcome the process of normalization of bilateral relations between Armenia and Turkey. We are ready for joint work, which will allow deepening cooperation between the countries of the South Caucasus,” Lavrov said.
The Russian Foreign Minister noted that the issues of Syria, Libya and Nagorno-Karabakh were discussed with the Turkish Foreign Minister.
