With the MP Anna Grigoryan we met the Executive Director of the ANCA Central Office Mr. Aram Hamparian, the Director of Government Affairs Tereza Yerimyan, and the Director of Communications Elizabeth Chouldjian.
We discussed the urgent issues related to Armenia and Artsakh, the existing security and foreign policy threats. We presented our compatriots the stressful situation regarding our visit to Artsakh, evidence on the border situation of Armenia and Artsakh.
We touched on the activities and issues of the Armenian Diaspora, the strengthening of Armenia-Artsakh-Diaspora inalienable ties and the need to set a nationwide trilateral agenda. The role of the Armenian Diaspora, ANCA is invaluable in supporting Artsakh and Armenia, deterring Azerbaijan’s expansionist ambitions, protecting Artsakh’s right to free self-determination and independence with secure borders, efforts and activities to lift the blockade on Armenia by Azerbaijan and humanitarian support. We also discussed the issue of the causes for the reduction of U.S. aid to Armenia, the reasons for the termination of aid to Artsakh and the possible solutions for them.
The agenda also included the commemoration of the Armenian Genocide and the elimination of the consequences of the genocide.

We have expressed concerns over the so called process of starting relations with Turkey without preconditions, as for more than a century the primary mission of the Armenians worldwide has been the recognition, condemnation of the genocide, and all of the efforts have been directed towards that goal. And since 1915, the genocidal policy of Azerbaijan under the auspices of Turkey is more than expressed today; in these conditions, I think, the peace agendas are false.
