PACE President Tiny Kox is on his way to Lviv to meet with Verkhovna Rada Speaker Ruslan Stefanchuk. The President is visiting Ukraine at the invitation of the Speaker, and is accompanied by the leaders of the Assembly’s five political groups.
In Lviv they will discuss the consequences of the Russian Federation’s aggression against Ukraine and the best ways that the Council of Europe can support its member State and its citizens.
Part of the discussion will be how to help the Ukrainian authorities to investigate the massacre in Bucha and other areas previously occupied by the Russian army.
The President and group leaders will also meet, among others, with members of the Ukrainian delegation to PACE and the Mayor of Lviv Andriy Sadoviy.
