“From the moment it became known that the deputies are not able to enter Nagorno-Karabakh through the Berdzor corridor, we have established contact with the NKR government and the Russian government at a high level. We have been assured that the NA deputies are not allowed to enter Artsakh in order to refrain from provocations,” RA Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan said during the NA-Government question-answer session on April 13, referring to the ban on NA opposition deputies entering Artsakh through Berdzor.
“There was an explanation from the Russian side that provocations can take place, the entry of the deputies is not expedient to keep Artsakh from them. And our position is reflected in the statement of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, that is, the tripartite statement does not envisage restriction of movement through the Berdzor corridor,” Ararat Mirzoyan added.
