Foreign Minister of Armenia Ararat Mirzoyan meets with OSCE Minsk Group US Co-Chair Andrew Schofer
On April 18, Foreign Minister of Armenia Ararat Mirzoyan received the OSCE Minsk Group Co-Chair Andrew Schofer.
Interlocutors exchanged views on launching the negotiations on a comprehensive peace treaty between Armenia and Azerbaijan. In this context, Ararat Mirzoyan emphasized the mediating role of the OSCE Minsk Group Co-Chairs.

Ararat Mirzoyan briefed Andrew Schofer on the situation in Nagorno-Karabakh. The sides discussed in detail the humanitarian issues resulting from the 44-day war, in particular the immediate release and repatriation of Armenian prisoners of war and other detainees, as well as the preservation of Armenian cultural and religious heritage in the territories fallen under the Azerbaijani control.
