Nikol Pashinyan congratulates Emmanuel Macron on re-election as President of France

Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan sent a congratulatory letter to Emmanuel Macron on the occasion of his victory in the French presidential election and re-election as President of France. The message states:

“Honorable Mr. President, dear Emmanuel,

Please accept my warmest congratulations on your convincing victory in the French presidential election and re-election as President of the French Republic.

The vote of confidence of the French people is the highest assessment of your extensive work in previous years in the president’s position, which reaffirms the success of the political course you have chosen.

Over the next five years, I wish you strength and endurance for continuing your wise policy in the high position of the French Republic, and leading the French people to new achievements. Believe me, Armenia will stand by you and friendly France in overcoming all joint challenges.

I am convinced that your re-election will give a new impetus to the unique relations between Armenia and France during the next five years, will give an opportunity to successfully continue the joint programs, including the efforts aimed at activating bilateral economic relations.

Armenia highly appreciates France’s role as the OSCE Minsk Group Co-Chair in establishing long-term peace in our region, and hopes that it will continue during the second five-year term of your presidency.

Looking forward to hosting you in Yerevan in the near future, I congratulate you again on your confident victory and wish you every success.

Please accept, Mr. President, the assurances of my highest consideration.”
