The leader of the Homeland party Artur Vanetsyan announced that they would start the second stage of the struggle and organize civil disobedience. During the march organized on April 26, in response to the question of the journalists of if the government will allow this decentralized movement to grow, Vanetsyan answered, “The government is doing everything, especially today, we have seen the use of brute force against various citizens, but it will not save them. The people have already woken up, all that remains is to be able to pack it all in the right way and finish it. In the coming days, there will be more protests, more dynamics and more important, and our compatriots will unite, everything will come out and we will have the critical mass that the government can not withstand.”
According to Vanetsyan, if that critical mass gathers, Pashinyan will not be able to use force. “The number of people we are waiting for is impossible, no one can do anything against the people. As for the fact that Nikol Pashinyan will not face anything, we have nothing to lose. We have lost and continue to lose the most precious thing, we have lost a part of our homeland. We are losing a certain part. We have lost our rest, the security of our country, we have lost our children.”
