With the exception of one or two cases when criminal cases were instituted against three people under the article of hooliganism, in all other cases they carry out their activities in good faith and the silent concern of many police officers about the situation in our country can be fixed. I can not say the same about a few hooligans in the red berets and black berets because the violence they use against citizens who exercise their right to freedom of assembly is simply unacceptable.”
Elinar Vardanyan emphasized that no matter how much bodily injuries are inflicted on the citizens as a result of violence, trying to please their boss, there will be no result, that is, they will not frighten the protesters. “All those police, as their boss says, will answer one by one, whether it is during the current government or it will be during another government in a very short time. They are slandering the police who kept our peace at night, who gave their lives during the 44-day war… just now, one of our youth was found to have a broken rib, was released from the Erebuni hospital and came to France Square to join us. They will not be affected by the violence they are trying to use, because the spirit of our protesters is unbreakable.”
According to Elinar Vardanyan, no matter how much the Civil Contract members make notes and encourage the police officers who use violence, they write, “Our lives, good job for using violence against citizens,” are making futile efforts. Especially since the detained protesters have to be released after 3 hours.
