On May 6, at the NA special sitting, Civil Contract deputy Sisak Gabrielyan said, “Many people say, ‘Why don’t you refer to the opposition?’ Dear citizens, after all, this opposition, in its own words, has worn itself out, as their leader says. I even have deep doubts about where they have reached.” Referring to the opposition, take to the streets so that the Turks do not come to our country, he quoted an excerpt from his journalistic material.

“At the opening of the school, a high-ranking official made the following statement: I sincerely want Azerbaijani children to study in this school, I am sure that day will come, I want that day to come as soon as possible. 2014, Serzh Sargsyan. Now, dear Mr. Vanetsyan, when you say at the door, people, take to the streets so that the Turks do not come to this country, are you disrupting Serzh Sargsyan’s dream? Or that Ishkhan Saghatelyan announces that they will bring back the robbery, do you understand that they confess that there was a robbery, that they will bring back the robbery?

Do you mean to bring it back, because we promised to bring it back to the state budget? In 2018, the citizens of Armenia closed the valve of your robbery faucet, now a very deep process is going on to return that robbery to the state budget.” Gabrielyan then suggested holding a discussion in the parliament with the Deputy Prosecutor General and on anti-corruption in order to inform the public about the cases in which people went to court. “We are talking about approximately 80 billion AMD. Yesterday, the children of such people, whose parents were arrested for those illegal cases, were closing the streets.”
