Theatre square in Gyumri was crowded on May 8 – the participants of the demonstration were dancing to patriotic songs. There were many former officials, state employees, and agriculturists among the participants.
An incident happened between former republican MP Sukias Avetisyan and a young man. The young man was shouting “Nikol – Prime Minister”, the former MP asked him to shout outside the square, and the young man replied that he will shout right there. People gathered there managed to settle the situation quickly. They were shouting that Pashinyan should answer for so many victims.
