“I met one of my colleagues in the corridor of the university. He asked me what am I doing at that hour at the university. No matter how much I was flattered but I was also surprised,” Levon Nazaryan, lecturer at pedagogical university, said at the rally, demanding the resignation of Prime Minister Pashinyan, in France square.
He continued, “My colleague, feeling my bewilderment, hugged me and said in my ear, “you know, there is a certain fear from these authorities, otherwise we would have joined you”.
Levon Nazaryan answered his colleague that he should join the movement at this moment, otherwise there may not be the “last moment”. Levon Nazaryan also noted that it was no longer a secret even before November 9 that Armenia was getting deprived of its sovereignty. “We lose it when we lose our identity. It was clear from that moment that Nikol didn’t and doesn’t have an identity, and his guarantee for the “victory” was the fact that he doesn’t have an identity. His government is also faceless. By struggling against Nikol we struggle for the revival of our national identity.”

According to the lecturer, he is frequently asked, how they are going to resolve the Artsakh issue, “It will be resolved when a government will be formulated which will advance the interests of our identity. There cannot be self-determination without identity. People of Artsakh cannot insist on the realization of the right as long as the murderous group is sitting here without knowing its identity.”
Nazaryan also mentioned that there are rumors that policemen are checking the lists of the absent students in the universities. He called his colleagues not to suppress the students because they struggle for values. The lecturer also turned to the policemen saying that they are not in opposite camps, and they are struggling so that crescents won’t appear on the police shoulder straps.
