On May 10, The Chief of Staff, Secretary General of the National Assembly of the Republic of Armenia Vahan Naribekyan participated in the regular working meeting of the Network of Secretaries General of Parliament of the Eastern Partnership Countries, which was held remotely. During the meeting, a number of issues were discussed, which were related to the perspectives of cooperation of the Eastern Partnership Countries and the development of partnership relations.
The Secretary General of the Parliament of Georgia Ketevan Kvinikadze, the Secretary General of the Parliament of the Republic of Moldova Tamara Gheorghița, the Chief of Staff of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Vyacheslav Shtuchny, as well as representatives of other parliaments of the region and representatives of the German Corporation for International Cooperation (GIZ) also participated in the meeting.
During the meeting, Vahan Naribekyan presented the work implemented by the RA National Assembly Staff, as well as the priorities and challenges set by the Staff, attached importance to the programs for the consistent development of the capacity of the staffs and the exchange of experience, in particular, in development of information-analytical skills.
The NA Chief of Staff, Secretary General underlined that the Staff of the National Assembly of the Republic of Armenia is ready for cooperation and it will support the further deepening and development of the inter-parliamentary relations of the member states within the framework of its resources.

The Network of Secretaries General of Parliament of the Eastern Partnership Countries was established in 2018 on the basis of the Tbilisi Memorandum. The purpose of the Network is the development of the capacity of the staffs of Parliament of the Eastern Partnership Countries and the strengthening of human resources. The Republic of Armenia was the Chairing Country of the Network of Secretaries General of Parliament of the Eastern Partnership Countries in 2019-2020.
