/TASS/. Western states are ready to oppose Russia “until the last Ukrainian,” which remains a convenient position for the US, who is ‘orchestrating from beyond the ocean’ and weaken Europe, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov said Saturday.
“Today, the westerners are ready to oppose Russia, as we say today, ‘until the last Ukrainian.’ At first glance, it is a very convenient position, especially for the US, who is orchestrating processes from beyond the ocean, while also weakening Europe, clearing its markets for their own goods, technologies and military-technical products,” the Foreign Minister said.
Meanwhile, the Minister noted that, in reality, the situation is “multi-layered.”

“No one saw these rules, no one discussed or approved them, but they are being imposed upon the international community,” he continued.
The top diplomat provided a remark made by US Secretary of the Treasury Janet Yellen, who said, that creation of a new Bretton-Woods system must be started with “the values that liberal democracies want to uphold,” and that the US will maintain supply chains only with the states that “share “a set of norms and values about how to operate in the global economy.”
“In my opinion, this hint is perfectly clear,” Lavrov said. “Access to dollars and benefits of the international financial system in general should be provided only to those who follow these American rules, while those who disagree will be punished.”.
