On May 12, EU Ambassador Andrea Wiktorin joined the Origins Online Magazine Launch Event. The Origins Magazine aims to inform a global audience about Armenian wine tourism, food heritage, and gastro tourism. The project is supported within the framework of the EU4Business initiative, GIZ flagship project Innovative Tourism and Technology Development (ITTD), to encourage innovative tourism in Armenia.
In her opening speech, the EU Ambassador Ms Wiktorin stated, “This is a very good opportunity to support the tourism economy and to inform a wider public of all the wonderful foods and wines Armenia has to offer in its regions. We consider that the tourism sector has immense potential in Armenia, especially as the wine tourism market around the world is increasingly popular and in demand.
