“With the Artsakh liberation war, we were able to have 42,000 square kilometers of Armenian territory. This was a source of pride and great success for our generation. This government came, it left about 32 thousand out of 42 thousand. And then they ask, what have we done wrong to this nation that you want to leave? What else did you have to do to leave? You were given 42 square kilometers of Armenian territory under our control, it is still a question whether 32 thousand will remain or not. If this government stays, they will not stay, people. This is the real challenge that has gathered us all in the square,” said Armen Rustamyan, a member of the Armenia faction, at the rally of the Resistance Movement.
He mentioned that it is treacherous news that they are fighting for power while gathered in the square and they do not know what they are doing. “They do not know what they want. Or they may already know what they want but keep it a secret from us. What we want is for what they want to not be fulfilled. That is what we want first of all.”
Speaking about the future promised by the authorities, Armen Rustamyan said, “Who needs the future with those concessions, when we will not have our kind? Who needs the future of a Turkish citizen with a miserable life? We have never been a slave nation. Yes, it happened that we fell, but we never knelt down. And whoever kneels down must leave. They have no right to lead a standing nation.” Rustamyan said that he could not say dates because the dates are in God’s hands. “God decides. We must do something to gain God’s favor and be able to drive them away to have a new dawn.”
Rustamyan urged Armenians not to despair, saying that every day they should crystallize, improve, and become more Armenian. “If we can achieve such disobedience that only a narrow circle of Civil Contract members and a few berets remain obedient, the issue will definitely be resolved. We must reach that level of disobedience, it must be both in quality and quantity. Faith says that whoever is not against us is with us. Those who do not oppose our goals are all with us, whether in the square or looking at us from a distance.”

Rustamyan said that they should be organized. “Today they have several thousand organized berets. If we have a more organized team, they will not stay for a day. They must one day wake up and realize that they have a position but no power. The people have power.”
According to Rustamyan, today it is not the people who are in power, but the Civil Contract group, which is “anti-national, I don’t know where they were educated”, who have come and want to lead our nation and impose their will. “In order for us as a nation to really come to power, it must be like a national team. We have to find the best minister out of 10 million to lead well. The professionals decide everything, people.”
