On Monday, the members of the Resistance Movement will move around state institutions and expect a position on the movement’s ideas demanding Nikol Pashinyan’s resignation. “State institutions and organizations are obliged to express a position on that document. This is a clear opportunity for everyone to express a position on that pro-Armenian document. This is also an opportunity for those who hold many political positions to separate from Nikol and not bear the responsibility for the destruction of the country,” said Ishkhan Saghatelyan, a member of the Armenia parliamentary faction.
“In the coming days, the people must know for sure who holds what position,” he added.
Ishkhan Saghatelyan issued a statement, according to which every Armenian should express a position on these vital issues for our people.
- Armenia will support the full realization of the right of the people of Artsakh to self-determination.
- Artsakh will never be part of Azerbaijan.
- There must be a reliable land connection between the Republic of Artsakh and the Republic of Armenia. Artsakh will not be an enclave.
- The Republic of Armenia is the guarantor of the implementation of the people of Artsakh’s right to security and self-determination.
- Demarcation and delimitation works must be carried out under the precondition of withdrawal of Azerbaijani troops from the sovereign territory of the Republic of Armenia.
- As a result of demarcation and delimitation works, the disruption of the integrity of the Republic of Armenia must be ruled out.
- In the process of normalization of Armenian-Turkish relations, any agreement that will question the Armenian Genocide is ruled out.
- The unblocking of the roads between Azerbaijan and Turkey cannot take place by corridor logic.
