Departures from Armenia in the first four months of this year are 6,055 more than arrivals
In January-April of this year, 618,313 people entered Armenia, and the outflow from Armenia was 624,368. The negative balance of inflows and outflows of the Republic of Armenia was 6,055. That is, in the four months of this year, 6,055 more people left Armenia than arrived. The Statistical Committee published the indicators of the social demographic situation for the first four months of 2022. According to the data published by the SC, 260,564 out of 618,313 citizens who entered the Republic of Armenia are citizens of the Republic of Armenia, and 260,564 out of 624,368 citizens who left were citizens of the Republic of Armenia. The negative balance was 21,299.
The highest rate of departures and arrivals in these four months was recorded in April. The arrivals in April were 179 603, and the departures were 183,217. That is, in April more people left Armenia than arrived, and the negative balance was 3,614. In January-February, more people left than arrived, and during these months the negative balance was 5,789 and 1,823, respectively.
A different picture was registered in March; more people arrived in Armenia than left- 159,662 people arrived in our country in March, 154,491 left. That is, in March of this year, 5,171 more people arrived in our country. During these four months, the majority of visitors to Armenia were citizens of the Russian Federation; during these months, the number of visitors from Russia to our country exceeded the number of departures. That is, in January-April, 197,187 Russian citizens arrived and 186,434 left. The number of visitors is 10,753 more than departures. The same positive picture is in the case of the visit of Georgian citizens. In the first four months, 54,771 citizens of Georgia arrived in our country, and 50,702 left.

The number of Ukrainian citizens who arrived in Armenia also exceeds the number of those who left. In January-April, 7,890 citizens of Ukraine arrived in Armenia, and 7,370 citizens left.
There are arrivals from Turkey, and citizens of that country have visited Armenia before. In the first four months of this year, 2,187 Turkish citizens arrived in Armenia and 2,051 left. In other words, the entry of Turkish citizens to Armenia is 136 more than the exits.
