The issues that are on the agenda for Armenia and Artsakh today are even beyond the political level. “These are national issues; that is, they are more than political,” said Tigran Abrahamyan, a member of the I Have Honor faction at the Hayeli press club. According to him, in this situation it does not matter whether you are a bank teller, a builder, a journalist, or a politician. “These people must understand that staying away from these processes and not participating will deprive them of the opportunity to have a home and live in their homeland in the future.”
According to Tigran Abrahamyan, they are ready to support and stand by the forces that realize that these authorities are a plague for the country that will bring new threats. According to him, the war has entered the homes of the people of Artsakh, Gegharkunik, and Syunik, and the next war will enter everyone’s homes. “In the post-war period, people were completely misled into believing that they would bring peace, especially in the pre-election period, when they were begging for votes. They also told the opposition that they would bring war. But today, the same people who spoke of the age of peace are saying that this peace does not depend only on us.”
The MP claims that there will be peace in our region only if we increase the fighting efficiency of the army and restore the security systems. “The key to peace, stability, security, and deterrence in our region is the combat readiness of the armed forces. They destroyed those armed forces so they can say to the people: look, we don’t have this, we don’t have it, we have to hand over everything and leave.” He recalled that during this administration, when there was an era of peace, how many Azerbaijani troops had advanced in the direction of Gegharkunik, Syunik, Parukh village, etc.? Meanwhile, during this period, according to Tigran Abrahamyan, Azerbaijan continues to strengthen its army, acquire new weapons, bring new forces to the borders with Armenia, and resume. “All this testifies to the fact that in the coming years the use of force will remain the main tool of the threat of blackmail for Azerbaijan, it will be done against these authorities. And unfortunately, it will bring new losses to Armenia.”
