The President of the Republic of Artsakh Araik Harutyunyan informed about the possible change of the co-chairs of the OSCE Minsk Group. He said the other day in the parliament of the Republic of Artsakh, answering the question of Vahram Balayan, ARF deputy, chairman of the foreign relations committee of the Republic of Armenia.It was reported in the media that the USA is changing its representative in the OSCE Minsk Group: Andrew Schoffer will be replaced by Laura Hochla.
Arayik Harutyunyan informed that some time ago, the former co-chairman met with the State Minister of Artsakh in Yerevan. “So that they should note that… by the way, in all meetings with them, the main thesis is our assessment of the Russian peacekeepers, Russia’s role in solving the Karabakh problem.” The deputy was also interested in the possible revival of the OSCE Minsk Group’s work, considering the latest statements documenting the opposing positions of the member countries of the group.
Arayik Harutyunyan said that we have a problem in this matter as well. “I don’t want to say what is right. We should discuss it together and make a decision. There is additional information that I receive from different places every day. Let’s discuss it and decide together the concept of our Karabakh problem solution, how we see the road map, and our cooperation with different countries – open, closed.”
