On 4 July, an event was organised by “Partnership for Open Society” and the Delegation of the European Union in Armenia to present the Civil Society’s Collective Monitoring of the EU-Armenia Comprehensive and Enhanced Partnership Agreement (CEPA).
This EU-Armenia CEPA’s collective monitoring has been initiated and led by a group of civil society organisations with experience in assessing and monitoring the implementation of democratic reforms and public policy development in Armenia.
The event was held for the attention of representatives of the EU countries, different institutions, and Armenian civil society partners, aiming to present the results and develop a constructive and effective discussion. This third session focused on “Restoring Social Justice in Education And Ensuring the Quality and Access to Education”.
“Education is the heart of all change and progress. This sector is one of the priority sectors for our European cooperation. By investing in the youngest, we invest in all generations, today and tomorrow, and is one of the areas where a consensus can be found”, mentioned the EU Ambassador to Armenia, Andrea Wiktorin.
