Aram Vardevanyan, a deputy of the Armenia faction, does not comment on the decision of Artur Ghazinyan, a deputy of the same faction, to give up his mandate. In a conversation with journalists, he only said that Ghazinyan is his friend and colleague. Aram Vardevanyan answered the question: Is there a split in the faction, did not reaching Nikol Pashinyan’s resignation lead to disagreements within the team?
“There are absolutely no disagreements. It can be said that unity is increasing. In the framework of the resistance movement, we are not just talking about the Armenia or I Have Honor faction because this is a cross-party movement, one of the important components of which is its nationwide nature. This is not a purely political issue. I don’t see a problem of division.” As an example of unity, Aram Vardevanyan pointed to the fact that after the authorities removed the deputy speaker of the National Assembly and the chairman of one of the committees, the opposition chairman and vice-chairmen of the other committees resigned.
