Dan Bilzerian has arrived in Yerevan, Armenia on July 5 as The Armenian Report had initially reported.

We were there to greet Bilzerian as his charter plane landed in Zvartnots International Airport.

The Armenian-American poker player, businessman, and social media influencer told The Armenian Report that he’s in Yerevan to visit his Ignite store.

“We have a full day tomorrow,” Bilzerian told us.

Last year Bilzerian announced his exit from the marijuana business. Pivoting Ignite towards legal vices. In an interview with Graham Bensinger, he explained how 80% of his social media following is overseas. With most of his fans in markets where marijuana still isn’t legal, shifting from weed to nicotine vapes, alcohol, and energy drinks—vices that are legal almost everywhere in the world—“was a no brainer,” he said. “I mean, nicotine is f*cking crushing it.”

It should be reminded, in 2018 Bilzerian went to Armenia and Artsakh. During his visit, he got his Armenian citizenship and registered for military service.

Following his three-day visit to Artsakh in 2018, Azerbaijan issued a warrant for his arrest. Bilzerian told People magazine the he will fight the charges, adding that he has “no interest in ever going to Azerbaijan.”

During the 2020 Artsakh war, Bilzerian, his father, and brother donated $250,000 for Artsakh.
