The Ambassador of the Swiss Confederation presented the copy of his credentials to the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Armenia
On July 12, Paruyr Hovhannisyan, Deputy Foreign Minister of Armenia, received the copies of credentials of Lukas Rosenkranz, newly appointed Ambassador of the Swiss Confederation to the Republic of Armenia.
The Deputy Minister congratulated Ambassador Rosenkranz on assuming the post and expressed his confidence that the Ambassador would contribute to the strengthening and deepening of the bilateral relations between Armenia and Switzerland.

Both sides expressed readiness to put all efforts in realization of the existing potential in the areas of mutual interest.
The Deputy Minister presented to the Swiss Ambassador the current developments and the position of the Armenian side regarding the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict.
During the meeting parties also discussed issues related to the deepening of political dialogue, trade and economic cooperation as well as cooperation in the international organizations.
The interlocutors also touched upon a number of regional and international issues.
