On September 4, Artsakh Republic President Arayik Harutyunyan visited the N2 purification station of the capital’s water supply system and got acquainted with the process of supplying drinking water to Stepanakert from the water intake junction of the Patara River, which was put into operation a few days ago.
The Head of the State inquired about the volumes of intake and consumption of drinking water, quality control works, made sure that the amount of drinking water received from the Patara River fully meets the consumption needs of the capital’s population.
The President highlighted the strategic importance of the water line construction project, noting that the Government will consistently continue the efforts to bring the Patara Reservoir project to life.
During the visit, the President was accompanied by Mayor of Stepanakert David Sargsyan, Chairman of the Water Committee Georgi Hayriyan, and other officials.
