According to the statement posted on Azdarar.am, the RA General Prosecutor’s Office’s Department for Confiscation of Illegally Sourced Property sent a notice to the judge of the Supreme Court Hrayr Tovmasyan, his wife Lamara Khudaverdyan, daughters Gohar and Mary Tovmasyan, and two other related persons, Sona Khudaverdyan and Rubik Ghazaryan, inviting them to the prosecutor’s office. All of these individuals received separate notices stating that the property registered in their name is subject to seizure.
The notification specifically states, “Guided by Articles 16 and 17 of the Law of the Republic of Armenia On Confiscation of Illegal Originated Property, I hereby notify that the Department of Illegally Originated Property Confiscation Department of the General Prosecutor’s Office of the Republic of Armenia conducted an investigation regarding the property belonging to Hrayr Vardan Tovmasyan, as a result of which a report was drawn up, on the basis of which the property registered in your name is subject to confiscation.” The proceedings are carried out in accordance with Articles 16 and 17 of the Law On Confiscation of Illegal Originated Property.
