Former deputy of the My Step faction of the National Assembly and Azerbaijani expert Tatevik Hayrapetyan posted on her Facebook page:
“Arsen Torosyan, who acts as a deputy of the ruling power of Armenia and is called to serve the national and security interest of our state, will probably one day receive the Heydar Aliyev award for his pro-Azerbaijani way of working. Unfortunately, he is not the only one in that team, moreover, he expresses the unvoiced thoughts of the decision-maker… And the idea is completely false, because if the idea of the right of free self-determination of nations were implemented, Artsakh would be either independent or part of Armenia.
That is why Azerbaijan did not follow the path of peaceful settlement of the problem. The former minister of health, who has become an “expert” and “historian” of Armenian-Azerbaijani relations, also admitted that the ruling power abandoned its pre-election program because it decided to adapt to new conditions. In any democratic country, an impeachment process should begin after this statement, because the majority that elected a leader voted for a different plan, according to which Artsakh cannot be a part of Azerbaijan, moreover, the question of deoccupation of Hadrut and Shushi was even raised. Let the Civil Contract present a program “in line with the new conditions,” then they will know whether they have a mandate to hand over Artsakh to Azerbaijan or not.”
