There are reports of a threat to the ceasefire regime. Permanent representative of Armenia Mher Margaryan announced this at the session of the UN Security Council. In particular, he noted, “We are receiving reports that the fragile ceasefire is under threat. There is reliable evidence to suggest that Azerbaijan is preparing a new attack, including by Nakhichevan, in order to achieve its goal and open an extraterritorial corridor through the territory of Armenia.” Margaryan also added that Baku has always persistently resisted any initiative to regulate the ceasefire mechanisms.
